Soft skills are people skills such as; how to listen effectively, creating a reputation, knowing what is expected of you, and both verbal and written communications, just to name a few. Your soft skills can determine how successful you are in the workplace today. Soft skills complement hard skills, which are those abilities that appear on your resume, like your education, experience and current level of expertise. Soft skills are also known as Job Readiness or Workplace Readiness skills.
